This is a great organization that does a lot for its community. Savings in this area would really help them continue their mission and provide even more services to those in need!

Pioneer Resources is worthy of this grant and would benefit greatly from it. They provide critical services to people with disabilities in several facilities- utilizing a tremendous amount of power. The ability to utilize solar power would increase their efficiency and allow them to invest more in these critical services.

Our city is committed to eliminating the green house gas emissions created by our operations by 2040, and we are supportive of other efforts within our city to further reduce emissions. Our community members benefit from the work Pioneer Resources does, and we support their mission to help people with disabilities and seniors attain independence and dignity by creating opportunities for participation. This mission aligns with the city's equity vision statement: Muskegon is an ethnically diverse city where we embrace differences and value relationships, access to city services and programs is universal, and people are engaged in community building. The diversity of our community is reflected in city businesses, events, boards, commissions and staff.

This grant would be another opportunity for Pioneer Resources to serve the people of the community through the many programs and benefitting the resources of the community through sustainability.
